About

Jena Chow and her daughter

Jena Chow walks many of life’s finest lines. She’s funny and wise; a free spirit and grounded; an avid world adventurer who also loves cozying in, binging Disney movies at home.

It’s her natural ability to see - and be - the beauty of seemingly opposing ideas that make Jena the graphic designer she is—observant, intuitive, passionate.

In one way or another, she’s been creating some form of art since she could hold a crayon. Then, at 14, Jena found herself learning code on her own to custom design her Myspace page via crackling, dial-up home Internet in rural North Carolina. (Zack Morris Time Out: that was WAY more work in the early aughts than it is today.)

Stuck in the professional rat race in 2013, she made a New Years commitment to herself—say YES to EVERYTHING. She started to travel, go to concerts, meet new people. Shortly thereafter, she decided to say YES to herself and make the leap into what she is passionate about: design.

After studying graphic design with a focus on typography and designing professionally for seven years, Jena is taking in creative inspiration and expanding her skillset constantly. With that said though, she leads her work with this simple and powerful idea: good design is taking good care of clients.

Design really is about the power of people. And although people and design ideas might appear to be diametrically different, they support each other powerfully and gracefully. Which is one of the finest lines where Jena thrives.
